Zhitenitsa is a village in Northeastern Bulgaria, part of the Provadia Municipality in the Varna Region. It is located approximately 12 km southwest of the town of Provadia and about 55 km from the regional center, Varna. The village has a long history, with the area inhabited since ancient times.
The region is agricultural, characterized by fertile soil, which explains the village's name ("Zhitenitsa" means "wheat field"). There are no major rivers or reservoirs nearby, but the area features picturesque hills and farmlands.
