The demand of real estate in Bulgaria is increasing and the prices are rising.
A constant rise of the prices is observed, even with slow temps according the data of The National Statistics Institute in Bulgaria, observed by our agency BiB Group, other real estate agencies, construction companies and investors.
There is a jump in the sales of real estates — more and more people invest their money in houses, apartments and land.
The statistic for 2014 year shows that more than 1 milliard euro were invested for the purchase of residential property — 10 times more than the properties with commercial and business purpose.
Certainly in 2015 year there will be a growth in the buying and selling and rising of the prices of real estate. In 2015 it is expected that the prices will be 5-10% higher.
There is also a more interest from foreign citizens — from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, France, Italy, Kazahstan and Belarus.
Our contacts and questions from citizens of Russia show that the rise of the euro and the dollar has a very negative effect on their plans for buying an apartment or house in Bulgaria.
Which properties in Bulgaria are with most demand?
Statistics from the last quarter of 2014 shows that 70% of the newly built dwellings are houses.
According the from the National Statistics Institute there is a reduced construction of the most common type of dwellings — one bedroom apartments and increased of the small one room apartments (studios) and the large two bedroom apartments. The data is from the last quarter of 2014 and is compared to the one from the same period in 2013.
First place in newly built dwellings takes town of Stara Zagora — 129 new buildings with total 419 apartments in them. Varna is second with 92 new buildings and 612 apartments in total. Burgas is with 86 new buildings and 576 apartments. Sofia takes the last 4th place with only 12 new buildings that have total 42 apartments.
